No, De Zoef is fully self-catering. You have a complete kitchen with an induction hob, oven, fridge and a Nespresso machine. Fresh bread rolls are an 8-minute walk away at the bakery.

Is De Zoef a B&B or a guest apartment?

De Zoef is a self-contained guest apartment for four — your own part of the house — not a classic B&B with breakfast service. You have the entire apartment to yourselves, with a complete kitchen and your own terrace in the garden. Fresh bread rolls are an 8-minute walk away at the bakery.

Can we sleep on the ground floor?

Partly. The main bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom with shower are on the first floor (the ‘upside-down’ layout). If you'd rather sleep downstairs, the second bedroom on the ground floor has its own washbasin in the room and a toilet close by — you'll just head upstairs for the kitchen and shower.

Can we store and charge our (electric) bikes safely?

Yes. Right next to the driveway is a lockable shed where your e-bikes are stored safely and can be charged at the available charging points.

Is De Zoef a good base for walking and cycling?

Absolutely — you set off right from the front door. De Zoef sits in the middle of the walking and cycling junction network of the Brabant Kempen, with forests, heathland and the nature reserves De Plateaux and Hageven close by. On arrival, just ask Diederik about his favourite routes.

No, pets are unfortunately not allowed. This keeps the accommodation fresh and allergen-free for every guest, and our chickens sometimes roam freely in the garden.

How do check-in and check-out work?

Check-in is from 15:00, check-out until 11:00. If you like, Diederik and/or Loes are happy to drop by in person later in the day with tips for the finest cycling and walking routes.

What does a stay cost and what is included?

Our rates are all-inclusive: final cleaning, freshly made beds, towels and tea towels, and all taxes are covered. A night costs €110 for 1 guest, or €121 on Fridays and Saturdays; each extra guest costs €15 per night. Stays of 7 nights or more get 10% off, and 28 nights or more 25%. What is the minimum stay?

The minimum stay is 2 nights. The longer you stay, the lower the price: stays of 7 nights or more get 10% off, and 28 nights or more 25%.

There are two of us — can we each have our own bedroom?

You can. Just send us a message via Airbnb after booking, and we'll make up both bedrooms for you.

Do we need to bring our own towels and bedding?

No, there's no need. The beds are made on arrival and towels and kitchen linen are ready for you.

Yes, you park for free on the private driveway, right next to the guesthouse.

How do I book and pay?

Are children welcome?

Absolutely. The second bedroom has two single beds you can move apart or together. Need a cot or high chair? Let us know and we'll arrange it.

Is De Zoef suitable for a longer stay?

Absolutely. With a complete kitchen, washing machine and fast WiFi, staying a week or more is just as comfortable as a long weekend — and the longer you stay, the lower the nightly rate becomes.

How quiet is it around De Zoef?

Usually very quiet. Good to know, though: about 100 metres down the street is café-hotel De Drie Linden, the heart of the village. Now and then it hosts a party or live music at the weekend, and you may hear it until 02:00 at the latest.

On the first floor is the bright, open studio with a king-size bed (210 × 180 cm), a comfortable seating area, the bathroom and the full kitchen. You'll enjoy an open view of the village park and church tower, and reach the floor via a wide staircase with handrails on both sides.

Downstairs

On the ground floor there's a separate second bedroom with two single beds that you can keep apart or seamlessly join into one king-size bed (210 × 180 cm), with its own washbasin and wardrobe space in the room and a toilet close by.

Outdoors

On your own terrace corner in the garden — screened off for privacy, with a view of the church tower — you can truly unwind on the lounge beds. Right next to the driveway there's also the lockable shed to store and charge e-bikes safely.
